English Bulldog Rescue Network Houston Texas

We are a group of Dedicated Bulldog owners.
Our Mission is to save Bulldogs across Texas regardless if they are owner surrenders, Bulldogs in shelters or strays.

Our goal is to Network with various English Bulldog Rescues or Bulldog Clubs to get Bulldogs out of harms way and placed in fur-ever homes. This group is operated on a voluntary basis. Donations are happily accepted.
Thank you.

The EBR Network adoption process begins with our adoption application, reference checks, home visit, and interview. This process can take up to three weeks or longer. Adoption fees vary depending on the Bulldogs age, condition, needs and such.

All of our English Bulldogs are in Private Foster Homes through out Texas. We are not a facility open to the public with viewing hours. You must submit an application to get the process started. Once you have been approved through our approval process we will work hard to match you to an English Bulldog in our care or hold your application until a match can be made.

Meet Java

Greetings, My name is Java.

This is what my Foster Mom has to say about me:
Java is a super sweet young bully who has just had a stint of bad luck. Java is spayed up to date on shots, micro chipped. She was picked up as a stray in Fort Hood, Texas by the army base animal control officers. At the time she was very skinny and and needed a little TLC. The animal control officers decided to adopt her himself. At her new home she was provided lots of good food so she put on some weight and the family gave her lots of love. Unfortunately, because she was still a puppy she didn't understand how to be gentle with the officer's children even though she was crazy about her family and wanted to show them how much she appreciated them rescuing her. Sometimes she would get too rambunctious and would nip the kids, but not with the intention of hurting them, it was just the only way she knew to get them running (and what she thought was "playing"). Just like puppies do.
Java is now in a foster home with two boys ages 7 and 12. Java's foster Mom believes that she is learning to be gentler there have been no incidents since she has been in her foster home. She has been such a good girl since she arrived, adapting well to her sleeping crate, and never having even one accident inside the house. Java is a very bright, fun loving girl and she will make a great companion for almost anyone. She is very healthy so her only placement limitations will be that she goes to a home that is willing to work on her training to continue to teach her, manners, bite inhibition and preferably a home that has no cats, since she doesn't seem to be a fan. Java would do best in a home with no little children 7yrs and up.

Meet Gracie

Hello my name is Gracie and I am a bulldog. I am 6 months old. I came to live with my foster Mom and her family when I was 5 months old. You see I have a mild case of Spina Bifida. Which means I will never ever never ever be able to be potty trained. The family that had me before my foster Mom didn't know I had spina bifida. They loved me very much but it was hard for them because they both work outside the home so they thought I would be great with someone who can stay at home and take me outside several times a day. My foster Mom is awesome...she totally gets me! When I first came to her house I was pooping like crazy..but she changed my diet to a raw (bravo and Nature's Variety) some of my favorites and I only pooh twice a day now. She takes me outside and gets me all happy and we walk and I pooh and pee and we go back inside and I don't even have to wear a diaper. I do pee in my bed though..but Mom is ok with that as she washes a lot anyway. I don't have any health issues other then spina bifida. I can walk run play and sleep and eat like the best of them... I love to cuddle at night with my foster Mom she gives great belly rubs.. If you are interested in me please feel out a application and remember I am a special needs bully. My foster Mom does have a doggie door and I do love to go outside in the back yard and play and just relax in the sun! When we get sun...I get along with everyone and everything. I am a very good girl! As a matter of fact I would love to have someone to play with so if you do have other critters I would be fine with them..
whoever gets to be the lucky family to have me..well you just better know my foster Mom will call you a lot to make sure you and I are happy campers..cause you know the old saying "If Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy"hehheehheheehe

Meet Gideon the Great

Howdy Folks! My name is Gideon the Great and I am looking for a couch to sleep on and someone to love on me forever. I have come to Houston by way of Austin, Texas. I am a young 8 years old, I don't see all that well and my hearing isn't that great either, and I'm not much for climbing stairs but I am still sharp and on my game! I like sleeping in, watching television, napping and I also like some chew toys. I have a good appetite and my only ailment is that I have dry eyes. In the bulldog world, that is very common and is managed by some eye drops the doggy doctor can get you. I have all of my shots, I am neutered (whatever that means) and I am ready to be your couch potato. If you have others dogs I don't mind, or if you have kids or cats that's fine too. Thank you for reading my bio, now please fill out our application cuz I wanna bust out of this joint!!!!
